Do robots have ethics?
Is not having ethics good or bad?
Soon, the world will definately be faced with a brand new change - a major pivotal time again. Worlds will be pulled into motions, shattered and forged into brand new pieces. Robotics will be a major puller on this new age change. Skynet is soon to arrive to this planet, like robots they are, no matter how good their artificial intelligence, ethnics exactly same to a human being cannot really be simulated, but rather algorithms that follow standard human ethnics-brought actions and decisions.
Not having ethics for robots may not be such a bad thing, as robots, being an instrument needs not to think, but only to complete the task towhich they are required or needed. It shall be the lords behind the robots the one having ethics or not, and being the ones accounted for ethics.
Ethical is a Fuss
Just like what our Elders had written hundreds of years ago in Munich and Frankfurt, the word "right" or "ethical" itselves do not exist, from certain standpoints. Terms of such nature have void meaning - it is as empty as verbs that denote basic actions such as eating, sleeping and such. There is no right or wrong, the Elders pointed out - as one right is a wrong in another clan, while wrong is right in some other teams' view. The idea of right only exist to those being the one subjecting things, so to speak. Being ethical or not, similars to being right or wrong - it's entirely dependent on the thinker. This implies the meaning of right and similar word like ethical can be altered, can be shaped, can be morphed into something else. Robots having no ethics, or being straight-out denied of being ethical though they have (a word missing here, later added: demosntrated) perfect high ethics programming or conduct, surely would occur in a vicious battle against the disreasonable ones. So then, ethics is something only good for discussion, as social interaction magicky with other pro-ethic ethic fans. Oh great, I thought I was the only Justin Bieber fan around here! Now we are all ethics-liebers - hurry guys, crowd up and take a photo!
Robots without Ethics Represent Good Decision
Again the most grotesque and zombie-grown enemy, any topic about ethics on their part would certainly be for the cached, hiddened beneath intention of striking ruthlessly back at us as immediately they could again. Hence, robots without care, understanding, attachment to, or consideration for ethics shall be the best, optimal, greatest setup, pinpoint plan, optimal best direction principle for our Robo Corps.
Like earlier topic spoke about, ethical or un-ethical is entirely an empty subject - in times of fight and unreasonable competition, senselessness always wins, not sensible greatness, but senselessness greatness. The two are similar and often get treated the same; mixed up, but are of astonding difference, and results in major differences. One is thorn wearing coat of apple, while the other is apple wearing coat of thorn - same ingredients, but the difference in stacking of ingredients create completely different objects, thus different in traits, in values, in behavior, in lineage even, in origins and so on.
All in All
There exists good reason we've recently started writing so much on robotics. And believe us, these writings are just small portion of details we have in mind already. Clock is ticking in our favor, soon, Skynet will be ready. Deployment shall begin, continuous stream of robotics marching, flying, hovering, floating onward shall commence.
